I started this business on a total whim in 2009; by trade I am a registered nurse. I went into a local quilt shop looking for embroidery patterns and the lady told me she wished she could find more. That was it, that’s how Paperback Patterns got started. I decided that my passion for art and sewing would be a great combination to design patterns and it turns out that I love every minute of it. The beginning was pretty rocky, but it wasn’t long before I found my nitch. Now I work part time as a registered nurse with mentally ill children and the rest of my days are spent working on my business.
